These images are meant to recall the Vanitas tradition in painting. Many of the photographs were captured in the artist's former studio, on work tables or wherever collections were gathered. A few were also captured in other artist/friend's studios. Since WhiteFeather's work is profoundly tied to 'place', images are captured outdoors near spaces she frequently inhabited/ visited as well.
